how to make edge stop signing me out of google?

Everytime i close edge, i have to sign back into google/youtube. it gets very annoying bc then i have to go into my gmail app and confirm the login everytime. on my laptop it works perfectly, This is only happening on my desktop. i compared setting and everything is the same but i still have this issue. it was fine before but i reset my desktop then this started happening. Does anyone have a fix for this? im on Windows 11.

Goto edge settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data. In the Allow row, there is an Add button, add [*.]google.com

There is a setting called "Clear browsing data on close". Remove the "delete cookies and other site data". This is the setting that signs you out every time you close Microsoft Edge. Hope this helps.

i did everything in that link but still have this issue.

Hi everyone posting this in case anyone is still struggling, this is what I did to resolve the same issue.

Settings -> Profiles -> Profile preferences -> Turn OFF "Automatically sign in to sites with your current work or school account?"
