Thank you for your reply. I have always had the shortcut on my taskbar. When I right click it, there is no option for tabs or delete. I can right click and "remove from that list," but when I go into history, Recently Closed tabs, all these links are still there. This only removes them from "this list", not on the history tab, (upper right ellipse). If I right click on a tab in Recently Deleted (in history), there is no option to delete there either. I want it gone from my history. My Windows is up to date. I have tried everything since Edge added that "recently closed" tab to "history" with an update (I wish they hadn't). Nothing works. I can never get anywhere that has a delete option. In history, the "All" tab has an "X" far right to close all tabs or individual tabs, but "recently closed" does not.
Thank you for trying to help.
doesn;t work
Hello BubbleCandy_Dreams, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;
I understand that you want to clear recently closed tabs in Edge;
The only way is to manually remove tabs from your history;
Open Edge and press Ctrl + H to access History;
You'll see recently closed tabs, but you won't be able to remove them there;
You will have to click on All and manually remove the pages from your history;
Hope this helps, see you soon!
Hi
Create a taskbar shortcut for Microsoft Edge
Right click that short cut
Right click the recently closed tab that you want, And delete.
Et Voila
