how to read aloud a kindle book web page

is it possible to "Read Aloud" from Amazon Kindle web page book?

All Read Aloud reads is the header and page number. I tried to highlight text and click read but doesn't work.

    Thanks Fred. I did find an Extension for Chrome called Read Aloud but it is not perfect that's for sure. I then found Speechify which is actually really good. The problem is that you have to pay about $135/yr for the AI voices that sound natural and have many to select from. All the voices that come with Google or Microsoft are very computer like whereas the AI voices sound very natural and normal and quite good to listen to.

    So the free version is good enough though since I just don't have the stamina to stay awake when I physically read vs. listen to a book.

    oh, and forgot to say I did use the cloud version of Kindle for this Extension to work; read.amazon.com

    Other users have the same problem when trying to use a reader immersed in the book from the Amazon Kindle website, so I don't think it's possible, but you can use a cloud reader, See this thread for more information:
