Despite changing the settings to A4 size printing, everything is still printing to A5 size. What can I do now? (Windows 11).

What worked for me was completely remove the printer software/drivers (e.g. via settings > printers), reboot and again via the Brother site install the most complete and newest version. You should have the Control Center as well. You can check if the settings in word and pdf are correct. If you have the Control Center you can also check the settings and make a test print. Under settings>printers make sure the right printer with the latest drivers has been selected. For me it worked. Good luck!

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for your reply.

I couldn't see a 'Fit to page' or scaling. I have chosen A4 options for the printer. The test page prints to A4 but anything I try to print from the computer reverts to A5.

I don't think that I am using the Edge browser. I just tried to find a chat room that maybe had some advice.

    Hi Dave,

Thank you for your help. I tried the suggestions you offered. I was printing from the Edge browser.

I eventually installed the printer again from a disc, instead of locating it via WiFi, which has worked.

Your kind response was much appreciated.

    Best wishes

    Maureen

Please provide a screenshot of the print preview window you are seeing so I know what application you are printing out of

    Hi Maureen,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Check if there is any scaling or 'Fit to page' setting enabled on your printer.

You posted to the Edge Forum are you printing out of the Edge browser?

If you are, if that does not solve this, at the bottom of the Print Preview settings in Edge, click the option to print with the System dialog and use that to print the document, does that print correctly?
