Displaying the password reveal button stopped working after the last update on January 15, 2023.
I tried several times to apply the procedure:
Computer Configuration*>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Credential User Interface > disabling the optionDo not display the password reveal button*but it did not help.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve this problem?
I use Windows 10 Pro 21H2.
I have just updated my Windows 10 Pro to 22H2.

To all reading this post: I am having the same problem. While we are waiting for the fix, try "ALT + F8" which works for me to show the masked entered password, as long as you have the broken Reveal Button turned on. "ALT + F8" does NOT work for me when the broken Reveal Button is OFF.

You do not understand the problem.
The SETTING has stopped working.
The "Show Reveal Password" setting is visible, and it is checked on "Yes."
But, all the "Reveal Password" buttons disappeared after the Jan 15 Edge update.
There is a bug in the Jan 15 Edge Update that must be fixed.
Unfortunately, your proposal did not solve my problem. The option "Show the "Reveal password" button in password fields." has been already turned on.

I have the same problem after the latest update. My reveal password button is set to "show" the revealed password. However, it is not working. Please fix this issue.

Regarding of your information, I assume that you can't use displaying password reveal button in Edge after update.
You can visit this website edge://settings/passwords-> **** Turn on Show the "Reveal password" button in password fields.
