Website buttons don't work in any browser: Edge, Chrome, Opera, none work

I have an issue where certain buttons, but not all, are unclickable and are not registered as links in any browser I've downloaded on my computer. When I try with my iphone these buttons all work fine. I imagine it is some sort of java problem since they seem to be java buttons but I have java enabled on all browsers. I've disabled my vpn, extensions, have tried on fresh downloaded browsers i would never use like opera. This is beginning to become an issue because I am forced to use my phone to navigate some webpages when my laptop would be better. I have an MSI G66 stealth laptop running windows 11. I have not yet tried disabling virus protection but I don't know if that would affect all of my browsers. This has been an issue for at least 6 months. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Same issue with me! Windows 11 pretty fresh on a new Lenovo P1 Gen5 laptop. Happens on Edge, Chrome, and Firefox, and it's SO FRUSTRATING. I was able to get some of these java type buttons to work when I disabled firewall, turned off one other thing (which I frustratingly can't remember now and can't refind the resource), and then reset all browser settings, including enhanced security. But now I'm back to where I can't authenticate my google account on my laptop and it's basically rendering this extremely expensive machine useless.

This is a Windows firewall issue with some type of java on certain machines I *think* or it'd be a lot more widespread I assume.

My best example for it is when I try to log into any google property, I can enter my email, my password, but then on the 2 factor auth page, I simply can't click anything. I occasionally can hover over things and see javascript:void(0) but not always. Sometimes the buttons react visually, but don't result in any action. I know for a fact I have been able to do this before on this computer, so it seems like a recent change too.

In my case, the problem was with a browser extension that was causing javascript errors when I clicked some button. Removing this extension solved the problem.

I have the same issue. But it's not just button in webpages.

Can't even click on the button to reset the browser settings. Same in Edge and in Chrome.

Started to notice it on twitch.com that I couldn't click on accept cookies. And other buttons. But can navigat between

streamers and everytging else. Just not the buttons.

    Hello tobgys4444

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Regarding to your information I assume that you can't click some button in browser.

Could you provide some website as example for test?

You can try to create a new account then visit these websites to make sure that not caused by the problem of account settings.

You can also try using IE mode to access these websites.

Right-Click the tabs then choose IE mode.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
