    Hi,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

To change the address bar search engine in Microsoft Edge, follow these steps:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.
    2. Click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.
    3. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
    4. In the left sidebar, choose "Privacy, search, and services."
    5. Scroll down to the "Services" section.
    6. Click on "Address bar and search."
    7. Under "Search engine used in the address bar," select your desired search engine from the dropdown menu.
    8. Close the settings tab.

Your address bar search engine in Microsoft Edge is now changed to your preferred option.

Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.

    Hello,

When I get to step 7 - the drop down box is visible but grayed out - so I am not able to click on it to see/ choose a different browser. Why would this be?

    Thank you
