Why do I keep getting redirected to Copilot when I try to use Microsoft 365?

Edge has a tab set to www.office.com which allows me to view all my MS subscribed apps (Outlook, Sharepoint etc). This is a very handy starting place for Office issues.

I recently ran into a Copilot question and without thinking (as I was busy) I clicked yes (not even sure what the question was). The effect was to divert my office home page to a copilot home page (copilot.cloud.microsoft/?auth=2&internalredirect=M365Cloud). Now everytime I browse to www.office.com it is auto directed to copilot.cloud.microsoft/?auth=2&internalredirect=M365Cloud. It has even performed the same task on another browser.

Please let me know how I can alter the redirect to allow me to land at my desired page

Microsoft Edge | Open the browser | Windows 11

Microsoft seems to be stuck in the "we're going to force you to use Copilot" model of customer "support." I use Outlook from a number of different computers I do not frequently log in to, and do not appreciate being led in circles trying to get to my email. This has caused wasted time in meetings and a lot of frustration for both me and my executive meeting attendees.

I am perfectly capable of clicking a link for Copilot (if that's what I want) from a landing page that has all of my apps accessible, like "office.com" used to be. This is yet another example of customer unfriendly, limited-use case thinking that Microsoft so frequently engages in.

Many/Most of us are business users going to Office.com for specific tasks. Being force-fed a Copilot prompt window is unhelpful and irritating.

The change of forcing copilot is the WORST. What is wrong with Microsoft. I had to do a training session that involved a spreadsheet on OneDrive and was nightmare.
    SOOOO ANTI PRODUCTIVE.

The frustration is through the roof for our users. The MS apps are productivity apps, and now they just totally undid that. Besides CoPilot is really worst of the worst. We would NEVER pay for it, and would NEVER use the free version.

My entire school district is having these issues as well. We found a workaround where we can turn off Copilot to all those without a license and it seems to keep the re-direct from happening, but now they can't use the free version of copilot if they are logged in with their work creds. This is beyond irritating because no matter what we do, someone is unhappy, and we still haven't gotten a response from Microsoft on this.

Was this an automatic update? I searched office 365 like I always do when looking for an app I don't have installed like visio and the link took me to the copilot jump page. I HATE it! If I want to use AI, I'll seek it out. I don't need it pushed on me when I'm trying to determine if visio can do what I need it to without a subscription.
