Hi all. I just wanna know if there is a way to speed up Chrome downloads? It's just with Chrome that I'm experiencing this problem. When downloading a game from Steam it stays stable at 35mbps at the slowest, and my internet isn't exactly bad if I look at the speeds at which it downloads other files much larger than the files I download from Chrome. I have enabled parallel downloading in Chrome, but still no luck with faster download speeds. I saw some people said to clear the cache in Chrome and I also did that with no improvement. Would appreciate if there is some other way to speed things up a bit.

Hi
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Steam itself has done a lot to ensure that players have excellent download speeds, such as CDN download servers around the world. You can see on the settings of Steam’s download page that they provide download servers all over the world, which ensures that players can have a good download speed when downloading games. The download speed of the browser basically depends on the website from which the download resources come. If the website is well done, it can get a relatively good download speed, but some websites may provide poor download services and will download very slowly. Because the browser is not a software specifically used for downloading, so slow download speed is normal. If browsers like Chrome or Edge are still slow after enabling multi-threaded downloads, it should be a problem on the resource side. If you have professional software for downloading, you can right-click on the download file icon in the browser to copy the download link to the professional software to see (but some network driver will prohibit this behavior).
