Resize the tabs in Microsoft Edge

Hello

The feature to resize tabs to make it larger disappeared in the new update in Edge, and I open many tabs, and I want something that allows me to enlarge each one of them,

I used to do it through System - Display, but this option disappeared in the new update.

And no, I'm not going to turn "vertical tabs" on because that won't fix anything for me and it will make the browsing page smaller.

Is there a way to do it or should I look for another browser?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello

The thing is it's "system and performance" now instead of "system" only, it's not because of a malfunctioned account, it's a change from Microsoft side, and it doesn't include the "display" option anymore. The touch mode in appearance doesn't exist too which is weird it's like Microsoft decided to shut down all the options that could be used to resize Edge tabs, that's why I'm asking if there's another way. This is just the way I browse the internet, and it's annoying me now because I'm unable to do it.

    Hello MoShika92.

    Thanks for your reply.

If the Touch Mode is not available, it may be related to Edge's A/B user testing, where some users have this feature while others do not.

Without Touch Mode, it appears that there are no specific options to adjust the tab size in Edge. I suggest providing feedback through Alt+Shift+I.

As an alternative solution, you can try adjusting the scaling in Settings (Win+I) -> System -> Display and then use Edge's zoom feature to

make webpages smaller to achieve a similar effect (Ctrl+mouse scroll wheel).

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Hello MoShika92.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Regarding to your information I assume that you have some issues on Resize the tabs in Microsoft Edge.

Edge itself does not have the functionality to resize Tab sizes. If you are using a laptop, you can check if there is a touch screen mode

    available at edge://settings/appearance.

Based on your description, it seems like you are using the Windows system's scaling feature. This feature should not disappear from

Settings->System->Display. It may be a result of some issues caused by updates. I suggest creating a new account to see if the

disappearance of the option is due to some account configuration files getting corrupted during the update process.

Please create a new test account, and switch to the newly created account to see if Scale feature is working as normal.

This troubleshooting step can help isolate the problem due to an invalid profile configuration.

Please share the results of the tests with us so we can further assist you in resolving the issue.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
