Stop it. Simple as, I've had to change it four times this week. I quite like the new Edge, but if I see bing pop up as my search engine one more time I'm swapping permenantly. Stop shoving your products down my throat.

Yup, same issue. They're doing it on purpose. Even with stupid notices like this:

The only solution is switch to using Chrome. I did it and will never use edge again!

I use Kagi. I do it for a reason (privacy, lack of ads etc). It has not been "changed unintentionally".

I've seen the Edge notification about how it is suspicious and how it reverted everything to defaults (i.e. Bing) three times by now. It seems to be a regular occurrence after Edge updates.

This is unacceptable, and I don't just mean ethically, but legally as well.

Microsoft, I'm begging you stop shoving Bing down my throat. My default search engine is switched to Google but my searches don't load to Google. Everytime I search something I'm immediately redirected to Bing. I hate it, how do I fix it.

    Same here, 19 January....
