How do I unblock a website?

A website is giving the following error message: The connection for this site is not secure / (the website) sent an invalid response. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. I contacted the website administrator who tells me the problem was that the URL was entered incorrectly in a newsletter, but the site was never insecure.  Is there a way for me to unlock the website?

    Hello Mimi7817

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you encountered an ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR error when visiting a website.

Is this a problem only with this website? Are other network accesses normal?

    1. Use other browsers on your computer to access this website. If other browsers cannot access it, it may be a network problem or a website problem. If you have issues with other browsers, please let me know in the next reply.
    2. If other browsers can access it, it may be an edge problem. Please try the following fixes:
      1. Repair Microsoft Edge browser "Windows” key + "I" open Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps*>* Microsoft Edge > Modify > Repair*.*
      2. Clear Microsoft Edge browser cache Enter "edge://settings/clearBrowserData" in the Edge browser address bar, press Enter to open the clear browser data page, then check the data you want to clear, click "Clear Now", and restart the browser.
      3. Reset Edge You can reset your Edge browser. Before that, please back up your data (you can save bookmarks and other information locally, or log in to your Microsoft account to sync all information to your account). Copy "edge://settings/resetProfileSettings" into the Edge browser address bar, then read the prompts carefully, and then confirm whether to reset the Edge browser. Disclaimer*: Your browser automatically saves temporary internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix page display problems.* Please back up all your personal files first, such as Favorites, to ensure you do not lose data.

If there is anything not clear or I can't understand your problem, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards

Thank you so much for your reply. I was able to use another browser. Then today, I was able to open the site on Edge. I appreciate your well written response.
