I've made several purchases and I always get an email from Microsoft CashBack saying "We've got you covered". The purchase then shows in my account as Pending. A few days later it disappears.
The person handling my support ticket wants to know how I signed up. I don't recall so they are closing my ticket even though I provided copies of their emails telling me my purchases are covered. Now they are closing my ticket.
Does anyone not think that Microsoft knows everything we've done on their browser and every transaction logged by their system? They probably know what I had for breakfast.
If there are any lawyers reading this, please consider a class-action lawsuit. This program session to be scamming a lot of people.

I'm missing almost $200 in Microsoft Cashback Rewards. Sent several emails to the "person" handling my case without any response.
I sent requested evidence of using screenshots. After making a purchase, my "cashback" dashboard shows Pending then a couple days later the "cashback" rewards will disappear.
This is unacceptable and I will be removing the "Microsoft Cashback" plugin from my browser and go back to using Capitol One shopping or Rakuten. I never had an issue with either of those.
I don't trust this system nor the people handling the case.
I will be contacting the BBB and our local news consumer protection department to investigate. Someone needs to shine a light on this issue. #TrustBroken
Same thing happened to me, and I also ended up getting the boilerplate, "Upon careful review, we have determined that the specific purchase you made does not meet the criteria for cashback." No specific reason given, and when you click on the links and read the FAQ, NONE OF THE REASONS apply to my purchases. I'm out over $60 cashback for two purchases, 3 months apart that combined for a total over $1000. These amounts that they are not paying and conveniently deleting or in my case, not even showing up in the history, are not insignificant amounts. The biggest clue that Microsoft cashback is a scam is that there isn't a click through history to show you all the dates and times that you clicked via their portal, like every other cashback portal provides. It's very convenient for them to not have this click through history.
We should definitely organize and start a class action lawsuit. Someone is making money off of our affiliate links and intentionally, not paying out for some (if not most) of the click throughs. Either Microsoft themselves or whatever third party company that they hired to manage the cashback program for them.
I have had the exact same experience with Microsoft Cashback.
After dozens of emails over 4 months (mostly unanswered), I was told "Upon careful review, we have determined that the specific purchase you made does not meet the criteria for cashback. We encourage you to refer to our FAQ link at https://www.bing.com/rebates/faq for more information about our cashback program and the eligibility requirements. "
There was no explanation as to why it doesn't meet the criteria and no one is answering my question. I got the same email - "We've got you covered." I took a screen shot and sent it to the person handling my ticket. No response.
Agreed. I don't understand why they still offer cashback if it is turning off customers so badly. There are very few good reviews of the program. Hopefully a lawsuit happens soon! It is really frustrating.
Great idea to notify the BBB and local news. Too bad I don't still live in Redmond.
