Every time I start Edge it goes to a web site I no longer want to use. I change the home page but it doesn't start up on that page... keeps reverting back to the one I not longer us. Help!

Okay, following your instructions I was able to get rid of the website I no longer wanted and replaced it with a new location. However, when I closed Edge and reopened it the MSN.com pops up. I don't like MSN for my news! When I click the Home Button my assign website comes up. How do I get rid of MSN.com now???

Tried all that and MSN.com still pops up!!! Grrrr!

Okay, finally got rid of it! Went to New Tab > Page Settings and turned off "Open a new tab", "Show feed" and "Show content". Now it opens to a pretty much blank page which is fine. Didn't want to see any MSN news stories every time it used Edge.

    Thanks for your help.

Good day, thanks for your question. I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. Are you setting it on edge://settings/startHomeNTP? (copy and paste this on the address bar and press Enter) From there, you can set to open a page or pages by selecting Open these pages option and add the website that you are referring to and test it again afterwards.

    Regards,

    Paul R.

Kindly check and try the below and see how it goes.

    > Check Startup Settings Again

    • Go back to the previous setting which is edge://settings/startHomeNTP from the address bar and ensure that MSN is not saved in there.
    • You can even check the other settings in here to be sure.

    > Clear Cookies and Site Data

    • Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data.
    • Choose Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, then click Clear now and check it again afterwards.

    > Reset Edge

    • Go to Settings > Reset settings > Restore settings to their default values.
    • After the reset, you can set your startup pages to be able to test it again.
