Spit Screen and Shortcuts

Sorry for this embarrassingly basic question, but where on earth can I change the keyboard shortcuts? I can’t find a single setting for it.

My additional question is: what’s the keyboard shortcut for split-screen?

The tabs are on the left, and the split button is on the far right edge. I assume it’s not meant to be used by moving the mouse a kilometer every time :D

Thanks

Hmm, one would think that the option for customizing the shortcuts is quite a basic feature in an application, right? I suppose I'll get used to it then.

You write under almost every post to give feedback, but it doesn’t really seem to matter. Is there any statistic on which feature requests have actually been implemented in the end?

For the split screen stuff, it would already help if the split-screen button could be moved to the left side instead of being all the way on the opposite side.

    Hi, dryn07

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Unfortunately, the Edge developers do not seem to provide users with the option to change most of the shortcuts, except for a screenshot button-related shortcut change (and this feature seems to only apply to some users at the bottom of Settings -> Accessibility options). Other shortcuts do not have an interface to change. Splitting the screen has also not been assigned any shortcut keys. For now, you can try using the keyboard to switch tabs and click the split screen button to see if this can partially improve your user experience (Ctrl + Tab, Ctrl + Number (1, 2, 3, etc), Ctrl + Shift + Tab).

At the same time, please provide your feedback to the Edge developers through the Edge Feedback (Alt + Shift + I) function so that they are aware of user needs.

    Best regards
