Managing browser extensions in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
So I have found out that I have another unwanted extension and it forced an organization too. I tried going to Regedit > Software > Microsoft > Edge and deleting Edge which has worked in the past. However, this will not go away no matter what I do. I'm scared I'll break my PC in trying to fix this. If anyone could help me remove this thing it would help a lot.

If you go back into your registry, and find these two policies "ExtensionInstallAllowlist" and "ExtensionInstallForcelist"
Can you right click them and change permissions in there to be able to delete them from there?
After I dug around in permissions I had to change all parties that where Denied to Allowed and give them full access. This allowed me to finally delete the policies which has removed the extension and the organization.
This has fixed the problem.
I really do appreciate the help you provided me. Your a cool dude, I hope you have a nice day.
Download the free version of Malwarebytes and run a full scan with that, then donwload the free version of ADW Cleaner from the Malwarebytes website and run a full scan with that, do either of those find malware on your PC?
Hello Dave, I appreciate the help.
I have tried what you said and ran into these problems:
Under the first/only Edge folder there are two subkeys called:
"ExtensionInstallAllowlist"
"ExtensionInstallForcelist"
These are the same policies that show up when I look at the organization that manages the browser. I was unable to delete these too.
Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Are you using these steps and deleting the Edge key (folder) from these two locations in your registry, then restart your PC and try to remove the extension?
Close Edge
Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.
Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on.
Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft
In the left pane, if there is a sub folder of Microsoft named Edge, delete it
Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft
In the left pane, if there is a sub folder of Microsoft named Edge, delete it
Restart (not shut down) your PC
