How to completely remove Copilot from Edge?

I've already disabled Copilot in the sidebar. I've toggled off "Chat response on result page" in the search settings. I want the Copilot AI disabled from the search result page, preventing automatic chatboxes on searches, and not activating when scrolling to the top of the results page.

Hi, Ricki. I'm Robinson, and I’m happy to help you today.

You can disable the Copilot in the "App specific settings".

    1-Open the Microsoft Edge

2-Click on the three dots(...) and click on Setting

3-Click on "Sidebar" on the left panel, and then click on Copilot under "App specific settings"

4-Turn off the options "Show Copilot" and "Show shopping notifications"

5-Relaunch Microsoft Edge for the changes to take effect

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.

I want to disable it too but I don't have those settings available. There is nothing under "App specific settings" and no mention of Copilot anywhere in my Edge settings. I will have to find another browser to use if I can't turn this AI off.

I'm a human who actually found out about this.

Many settings remain hidden unless you're using a large resolution and have maximized the window. Ingenious. The search function isn't much help either (as is often the case with Microsoft's search functionality) – for instance, searching for 'copilot' yields zero results.

Anyway, when you're zoomed out or have the window maximized, the actual settings should become visible on the leftmost side where it says 'Settings' and there is a search bar underneath it, including the 'Side panel' option. Click on it, and you'll find Copilot along with many of the bloatware ✨exciting features✨ that come with Edge.
