Good day zbz 657234, thanks for your question. I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. Sorry to know about this. Is this also happening on a different browser other than MS Edge?
Regards,
Paul R.
I have same, but different problem logging onto banks. I have an 8-year-old Lenovo with Windows 10 and yesterday, for the first time, could not download Bank of America, but could download Synchrony Bank. I also have a new Lenovo with Windows 11. I have been unable to download Synchrony on 11from the beginning, but can download BOA???
I have Norton security. I removed all Norton extensions on both laptops and browsers. My browsers on both are Edge & Chrome. I can now download BOA on the Windows10 laptop. I still cannot download Synchrony on the new Lenovo with Windows 11. In addition to speaking to Norton , who told me to remove all extensions, I spoke with tech support at Synchrony, who said they could find no issues on their side.
Could the problem be Window 11??
Microsoft Edge is denying access to my Citizen on line account
My apologies if this is the case and if this has been happening for a long period of time then it might be a case of a hit and a miss wherein there is an issue and then there will be an update that will happen that will fix the issue and then the same thing might happen again and for this it will be best to send a feedback on both ends with the team that is working on Edge and with whichever bank this has happened so that they will be made aware of this thing that is happening you can provide a feedback from the browser itself by clicking on the 3 dots > Help and feedback > Send feedback.
I am seeing this with Edge, Firefox and Chrome. All on the same Windows 11 machine. And sometimes Firefox works and sometimes it gives ACCESS DENIED. And it is always a bank website but not always the same bank.
My research shows that this has been a problem for many years prior to Windows 11. Why has it not been solved?
Thankx for any help you can provide! :)
