I'm trying to figure out why I cannot play videos anymore that are sent to me through messenger. I can watch them from my phone but not on my laptop or PC. The video loads and plays, but with sound only without the picture. It used to work fine, then something changed. I thought of trying to change browsers, but it insists that I switch off S mode to get off Edge to Chrome. Any suggestions?

Can you clarify, "sent to me through messenger"? Do you refer to a website?
Also, does the issue only affects videos from "messenger"? Try playing a video on other websites, or entering "file://C:/" and navigate to a local video file, and see whether the issue persists.
