Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
The issue:
I setup vertical tabs, create 6+ groups and have several links within each one. If I happen to close that browser instance while another is open - I am starting over from scratch - YUCK!
Possible solutions:
I need a way to save a tab-group configuration
by name perhaps?
or by date stamp with a tab count perhaps - with a recent list to choose from ?
"Restore Groups & Tabs"
Thx
Jeff

Hi JDK1357, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.
In this case, Workspaces is a method that would help you for saving groups and tabs. Have you tried it yet? Simply click the Workspaces icon on the left corner to create a workspace and that will give you the option to save a session with groups and tabs in it. You can just close the workspace and that is still saved or synced to your Microsoft account.
That does what I need! Thank you. I will say this before I go for anyone who is in my position. When creating that first work space, I thought I would lose my current groups and tabs but it turned out that I just had to drag and drop entire groups from my existing browser instance into the new one that was started when I created the first work space. And shortcut "favorites" across the top are remembered as well.
