According to https://blogs.windows.com/msedgedev/2024/05/02/control-edge-memory-usage-with-resource-controls/, Microsoft came out with the new resource controls setting. I have the latest version of Edge but cannot find it. Under the Manage your performance section, I can only see the Performance detector. Is it still slowly rolling out?

it's 6 months later and i still don't have it. should i worry now?

Just following up here, it is still not available and I actually really need it.
I got it, but it is for the Edge Insider. None Insider Edge doesn't have it.
