Hi all.

Microsoft Edge is reported as being installed on my system but there is no sign of the folder or any of the links needed. It does not appear in explorer, program files, program files (x86). It is not shown in uninstall programs - Iobit uninstaller 14.1 Pro, Ashampoo uninstaller 14, or Windows native uninstaller. Some programs ask for links but they can't be found as they are in Edge. I just can't find it and neither can the programs even though Windows says it's there,

Any help greatly appreciated.

Martin

Re-register Edge via PowerShell1. Press Win + S to search for PowerShell, right-click and select "Run as administrator ”.2. Restart your computer and check if Edge is restored.III. Reinstall Edge1. Visit Microsoft Edge official website.2. Download the installer and run it, and select “Install for all users”.IV.Try to create a local account and then try to see if the problem still exists in the local account:Search for CMD, then run it in administrator mode and enter the following commandnet user USERNAME PASSWORD /addnet localgroup administrators USERNAME /addUSERNAME PASSWORD can be replaced with your preferred account name and password, if you don't need a password you can leave PASSWORD blank. If there is no problem under the new account, this should be a fault of the account profile, please refer to the following article under Repair Corrupt Profile for the solution to transfer your information to the new account.*Troubleshoot Problems Signing In to Windows - Microsoft Support* (The procedure is the same for Windows 11 and Windows 10, you can directly refer to the scenario for Windows 10 and execute it.)If you have any progress, you are welcome to contact us anytime.
