How do I stop Microsoft Edge Mobile from freezing and lagging?

It's been happening to me a bunch of times, it'll freeze whenever I go on any wiki and view pages like recent changes, and also does on other sites. It freezes for a few seconds and it just unfreezes. It also give me a pop up that says Edge is not responding, wanted me to close or wait.

I do wonder if anyone else has the same problem as I do and how would I fix this. Please help

    This happens when any form is loaded. I thought maybe it is the RAM on my phone but it is pretty good. It does not happen with any competitor browser. Looks like I may have to change to the usual.

    I have the same problem. Started wirh the newest release of Edge. I unistalled Edge and installed July 2 version. Problem solved.

    We tested the situation you described on the 8Gen1+ phone and could not reproduce your problem. If convenient, please uninstall Edge and reinstall it (it would be best to switch to another version such as the Beta version, which can be found in the Google Store) to see if the problem still occurs (it is best to restart the phone and not use other apps). If the problem still persists, you need to report the issue to the developers through Edge’s feedback function and wait for them to fix the problem.
