Personalized ads in Edge are shut off in privacy settings but still getting them

That is a cheap and BS answer. He's talking about the little button that's supposed to turn it off in edge, that changes its self-back on the moment you go away. I've watched it happen and Microsoft is violating our privacy with these acts. Maybe a lawsuit would change their minds.

I went through every privacy / no tracking settings in Edge and MS account and confirmed they are turned off or set to the strictest privacy settings.

Computer is cleaned daily with Advanced System Optimizer.... no cookies, privacy traces, residual cache junk, etc

Adblocker extension has always been on.

Amazon browsing history / personalized settings are off.

No devices are sync'ed to my computer and the sync feature is "off" in MS settings, ....don't have any other devices connected

The most aggravating part is the MS Edge homepage. I keep seeing the same ads and no matter how many times I click on the button to report them as "seen this ad multiple times" or "this ad does not interest me", nothing happens they keep coming back. My whole Edge homepage wall is covered with ads for local veterinarian services and parts for bulldozers. I don't own a bulldozer and never shopped for bulldozer parts but MS keeps cramming those ads down my throat no matter how many times I report I'm NOT INTERESTED.

I'm out of ideas other than to dump MS account, Hotmail, and Edge and start everything over somewhere else. If the privacy settings are useless and it is this hard to stop MS from prying into everything I'm searching and shopping for then I'm done.

If you have any other ideas that might work I'm still happy to try them but I've spent hours on this and nothing is working.

Now I am getting non-stop ads for CHICKEN PLUCKING MACHINES. I don't raise chickens and have never searched for any poultry-related products but MS is certain that I will eventually purchase a chicken plucking machine if they keep plastering my MS page with these ads. This plucking sucks .....I'm plucking sick of this. No matter what personalized plucking buttons I shut off or report I am "NOT INTERESTED" or "SEEN THIS AD MULTIPLE TIMES", I still get the same plucking ads !!

I don't want personalised ads because they encourage me to spend money I don't have. Rather have ads that I'm not interested in then I'm not tempted to spend!
