Microsoft Edge keeps freezing on me!!!

HOW DO I STOP FROM MICROSFT EDGE KEEPS FREEZING ON ME ABOUT 5 SECONDS THEN MICROSOFT EDGE BECOMES UNFREEZE ON ME???? I'M GETTING REALLY FRUSTRATED!! I'm using Microsoft Edge latest stable version 122.0.2365.52 with all latest Windows updates installed and with all latest drivers installed.

    Edge seems to be an ambitious browser. Unfortunately, it appears that Microsoft is not taking this issue seriously. The obvious answer is to ditch edge and use a different browser. I regret that this is what I feel compelled to do.

    I have the same problem and have tried all the trouble shooting. The issue went away for a few months but now after another MS update the problem is back. This is a gaming pc with plenty of resources but I'm getting to the point where the Chrome browser is more dependable and stable. Microsoft you should have software people resolving this problem on your end not on the consumer end.

    Definitely a problem, I run a repair shop and seeing many daily at the moment since the latest update.

    i thought my pc was dying or something

    but edge is the only browser reacting like that

    tried everything too and nothing helped

    going to stick with firefox and chrome then.

    I have the same problem, on Windows 10 and Windows 11 Microsoft Edge freezes and starts working again. I have the same version reported in this post.
