Google Voice has worked fine in the past with my Bluetooth microphone. I think it was just after super update Tuesday after updating windows and edge browser that Google Voice no longer works with my Bluetooth microphone.

I tried repairing browser. I tried removing and reinstalling and re pairing device. I tried choosing the 3 different options for my microphone in google voice settings. Still no go.

The microphone is still working and passes recording tests in windows setting. The microphone still works with Microsoft 360.

Are still allowed in edge browser settings.

Please help.

    I wasted a day chasing a ghost :-(

Google broke it, let's see if they can fix it

Test your microphone with an actual call, don't use the built-in sound check feature in the Google Voice website. I have found the sound test is not working, but my microphones are working fine in real calls. The speaker test is still working.

    Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with Google Voice on Microsoft Edge after the recent Windows update. Since your Bluetooth microphone is working with other applications like Microsoft 360, it seems to be specific to Google Voice on Edge.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Clear the cache and cookies in Microsoft Edge: Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data. Make sure to select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," then click on Clear now.
    2. Check microphone permissions for Microsoft Edge: Go to Settings > Site permissions > Microphone and make sure that Google Voice is allowed to access your microphone.
    3. Reset Microsoft Edge settings: Go to Settings > Reset settings and click on Restore settings to their default values.
    4. Update Microsoft Edge: Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Edge installed on your Windows 11 device.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may want to reach out to Google Voice support for further assistance as the problem seems to be specific to their service on Microsoft Edge.
