When I wanted to access some websites, such as scholar.google.com, it consistently showed "ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE." It happened a few days ago, and my computer worked fine last week. I've tried the following solutions:
When I use my mobile hotspot, everything works fine. My internet provider is Spectrum. When I reached out to them, they said they had nothing to do except turn off their security shield, but it still didn't work.
I have two computers with Windows 11, and both of them have this issue. One of them just bought two days ago. Also, my MacBook and Android phone can access the websites without any problems with the same network from Spectrum. Therefore, it appears that the issue only happens when I try to use the Windows computer to connect to the Spectrum network.
System information for my new Windows 11 computer:
Edition Windows 11 Home
Version 23H2
Installed on 2024/10/6
OS build 22631.4249
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1041.0
Could anyone help me with this situation? Thank you so much!!!

I have exactly the same problem. My service provider is BT. It recently appeared on my 2 Windows 11 PCs and Laptop.
All my iPhones and iPads, Apple TV box and the BT TV Box all work fine . The problem is only on windows 11 machines both directly attached to my Broadband hub and wirelessly connected Laptop.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
Edit: After posting this I discovered that the same problem arises even when I boot from a Window 10 lite USB memory stick.
FIXED Err_Address_Unreachable
I resolved this problem by turning off all devices in my local network. I disabled the Wi-Fi in my BT Hub. I left one PC connected to the Hub and got no errors. . I restored of the network attached devices one at a time. I believe the issue was caused by a Wi-Fi repeater. Turning a repeater off then back on again after 5 minutes was sufficient to clear the fault.
The only remaining mystery is why only Windows devices were affected.
It wasn’t working. I’m having the same problem.. can you give us a solution. I’m also using windows 11. Thank youuu
Thank you! None of the solutions you provided works. It seems like I have to ask for the new public IP address.
Interestingly, I've been having the exact same issue in the last week, everything works fine if I use my hotspot. I'm with nowtv broadband
