Synchronizing Edge favorites between computers

I am setting up a third computer, and I want to synchronize the Edge favorites between the three of them. I am signed in as a user with the same Microsoft account on all three. The two existing computers have different favorites. Is there a way to synchronize the favorites between the two existing ones and then import this synchronized list into the new computer?

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

Here's how you can synchronize your Microsoft Edge favorites across multiple devices:

    1. On your first and second computers:
      • Open Microsoft Edge.
      • Click on the three horizontal dots at the top right corner of the browser to open the menu.
      • Click on "Settings."
      • On the left side, click on "Profiles."
      • Click on "Sync" and make sure the "Favorites" toggle is switched on.
    2. On your new (third) computer:
      • Sign in to Microsoft Edge with the same Microsoft account you used on the first two computers.
      • Follow the same steps as above to turn on the "Favorites" sync.

It may take a few minutes for all your favorites to appear on the new computer. If you still notice that some favorites are missing, you might want to manually export your favorites from one computer and import them into the other:

    1. Export favorites on the original computer:
      • Open Microsoft Edge.
      • Click on the three horizontal dots at the top right corner of the browser to open the menu.
      • Hover over "Favorites" and then click on "Manage favorites."
      • Click on the three horizontal dots at the top right co rner of the new window, then click on "Export favorites." Save the file somewhere you can easily find it.
    2. Import favorites on the new computer:
      • Open Microsoft Edge.
      • Click on the three horizontal dots at the top right corner of the browser to open the menu.
      • Hover over "Favorites" and then click on "Manage favorites."
      • Click on the three horizontal dots at the top right corner of the new window, then click on "Import favorites."
      • Choose the file you exported from your original computer.

This should synchronize your favorites across all your computers. If you have any further issues, feel free to ask!

    Best regards

How does the sync process deal with different favorites' folders and sites between computers 1 and 2 in assembling the favorites list on computer 3?

What if the favorites have different folder structures?
