This may sound petty. I reset my entire system. How can I get back my AOL icon in the taskbar without using Microsoft Edge?

.. Hi there : Just curious. if you've installed the AOL - Email app and

have its icon on the - Desktop : open the AOL .. You will see the

AOL icon on the "Taskbar" Right-click on it >Now click

again in >> Pin to Taskbar : and Done deal

Anyway. Possible solution to apply : But you

have to use a browser. either .. Edge of Firefox..

Then in one of these. Browsers search bar, type [Chrome] press - Enter

After that follow, below steps. To place an AOL icon on Taskbar

Make a website shortcut using Chrome : on a Windows PC Launch

Google Chrome and go to the website, you want to pin. Click the ⋮ icon

in the upper-right corner of the browser. Hover your cursor over

-- More tools, then click. Create shortcut. Hope this helps

I have been using AOL for several years, so I did not download file.

I do not use Chrome, I use DuckDuckGo.

There is no choice to 'Create Shortcut' under 'More Tools'.

On several occasions I find it necessary to have AOL and my Search engines open at the same time so having AOL pinned to my taskbar thru Edge is not feasible.

I have used Cortana to try and solve my problem, but the reply is not applicable.

I only experienced this problem after I reset my system and had to reinstall several programs. Due to my having AOL on my system for years I have forgotten how I put it there.

I am open to any other solution.
