Hi, W. Herbert

Thanks for your reply.

Is there also the same issue with the Canary version of Edge? There were previous reports of similar issues with the Stable version, which may be due to compatibility issues with specific models. You can try downloading another version of Edge from the Google Store and manually clearing it once (make sure the time is set to any time after exiting and re-entering that interface).

If there are still issues, please report the problem to the developers through the feedback function of Edge (including your Android phone model).

Best regards

    Hello Tommy,

manual deletion works fine. But automatic deletion when you exit the browser doesn't work even though the switch is on.

    Greetings

    Hi, W. Herbert

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Have you enabled the sync feature? Please log out of your Microsoft account, then manually clear your browsing data for any time range in the privacy settings. Afterward, visit a website, then close Edge to see if the issue is resolved. In our tests, manually clearing the data once made it work; before that, it wasn't effective. This might be a problem with Edge itself. If the issue persists, you can download a Canary version of Edge from the Google Store and perform the above steps to see if it helps. Please also use the feedback feature within Edge to report this issue to the Edge developers.

    Best regards
