I use BING all the time on both my PC and on my iPhone. I always need to keep checking the points to see if I have the 10,500 points needed to Redeem manually for a $10 Amazon Gift Card. This gets old. There's an Auto-redeem function that you can apparently setup, but nowhere on that site does it help you do it. I've looked everywhere and even BINGed it, hoping to find out how.
So, I'm here to ask how. Also, hopefully someone at Microsoft will see this and pass it up to management that they need to add instructions as a link right there. DUH
Here's all that's shown if I click on the little icon in the circle to the right of "Auto-redeem":
Either this is really bad or I'm really dumb. This, on top of how difficult it is, for some dumb reason, to then deal with using the Redemption Code that they email me after I've done all this, so that the $10 Gift Card is actually applied to my Amazon account.
This whole deal if so convoluted that I bet it's been setup this way to make it so difficult to use these Rewards that a high percentage of people don't even want to try, especially after trying it a time or 2. ESPECIALLY if they're old folks.

Thanks. It seems really odd that they've updated their website to show that stuff about Aito-redeem before it's even available. Makes no sense at all. Why tease and confuse people?
The way it is now, anyone who's tried it and it hasn't worked will no longer try it even when it's available by clicking or tapping on that link. In my mind that's pretty stupid IT work or decision by management.
How will I know to try it, just by keep trying it and failing?
GRRRRR
Hey Jeff
So the answer given isn't actually true. But you are correct in that it is a convoluted process, it took me forever to figure out how to auto redeem Xbox gift cards (and I used to work as a developer with MS for over a decade).
What I finally figured out is I needed to remove any goal I had set up, then click on 'earn', search for 'xbox', click on the gift card tile, choose the amount, then check the 'auto redeem' box. I just went through the process again but searched for 'amazon', clicked the tile and the option was there. I thought maybe it was only an option for MS related rewards but it looks like it is there for anything.
I'm going to try and add a screenshot but just in case, the steps are:
Go to rewards.bing.com and log in
If you have a goal set up, remove it
Go back to 'Earn'
Search for 'Amazon'
Click the appropriate tile
Choose your amount
Directly underneath the amount, there will be an 'Auto Redeem' toggle, click it
You're all set
I'm using Bing on Android, but it's there on Win11 as well
Dear Jeff, Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
I understand your frustration with setting up auto-redeem for Microsoft Rewards. Unfortunately, as of now, there is no direct option to set up auto-redeem for rewards. You will need to manually redeem your points for rewards like the $10 Amazon Gift Card.
I recommend checking the Microsoft Rewards website or contacting Microsoft support for any updates on this feature. If you encounter any issues with redeeming your rewards, you can contact support directly.

I followed the instructions but for a Walmart reward and it worked with the $10 and up option, not the $5 option. Thank you.
