I have the same problem so far it's my only problem with Windows 7. I found that if you right click on the task bar and go in to property's you will find an entry for taskbar buttons change this to ( combine when taskbar is full ) and this will fix the problem.
Windows 7 shows new window behind other windows
Whenever I open a new window of explorer it opens it behind everything that already opened :-(
Not a big thing but a little annoying . Can I do something to change this?

2010-02-16T16:14:37+00:00 Happens to me too when Internet Explorer opens another windows (e.g. when I click in Yahoo mail to download an attachment it is always behind the other windows). Also happens with the HP print dialog box when printing from any application. The fix above (i.e. combine when taskbar is full) doesn't seem to have worked for me.
Would love to hear if anyone know how to fix this.
