I have a floppy disk with very important files .ARJ . I attached my sony device to opend floppy disk files on my computer but I receve a message "select a program to open file from a list of programs" and no program I have installed works. I tried the internet and I am worried about virus. Has anyone a suggestion that works? The name of the files are: ARJ, BIT.ARJ, CDR.ARJ, HP.ARJ, POSTSCRT.ARJ

Thank you for your post. .arj extensions are compressed filetypes similar to .zip extensions. This filetype will require you to get a 3rd party software in order to work with these files. You can perform a web search on Bing.com or your favorite search engine for ".arj extractor" in order to find the software you need. Please let us know if we can assist you further.
