What is the best version of iTunes for 64-bit Vista?

My new computer kept freezing so I called Dell support... they eventually came to the conclusion that iTunes was the problem.  They said I should uninstall iTunes and try a different version, but they didn't say which version.  I was using 8.0.2 which is what apple says to use with Vista.  Is there another version of iTunes that would work better?  or at all?

    MelissaBUbear,

Looking at Apples website I saw that iTunes 8.0.2 is the latest version they have available for Windows Vista X64 as a download. In order to get a different version or find out what is the better version in your case please contact Apple as they might have an archive of other iTunes versions available for you.
