Microsoft Teams and O365 Group Creation Lockdown tool.

Hi everyone, Idk if is ok to ask about this over here but, by any chance you guys have this script that works like an api tool in which allow you to Lockdown the creation of a Team group in Microsoft Teams? This was on the old gallery of TechNet but now that I'm trying to look it up for, is gone.

I know that there is a Microsoft Doc for it but the tool allow you to perform all that in a much easier way.

According to your description, your issue is related to Teams development, which we do not support. I will add “teams-dev” tag to your thread.

From Teams client side, you can create a group for users who need to create Microsoft 365 Groups. For your purpose, you need to create security group for users who can create Office 365 Group. For more details about each step, you can learn it from:

Is not an issue, is more like a search for that specific Script because it was something useful. It automatically install all the modules needed for the job and it throws the window only to choose the Security group that you want to allow to create groups in Microsoft Teams. This tool is no longer in the Gallery due to a migration or an update made so I was wondering if someone from the blog might have it save or if the owner is still with us to share one more time that script.

Hi @Javier_Arias , The tool has been moved now but we do have the script which is mentioned in the documentation provided above by @JimmyYang-MSFT .
Refer to the STEP 2 in the documentation. Hope that helps here.

I understand that the tool has been moved, the thing is, where it is? And as I mentioned before, I'm aware of the documentation and how the process go. The reason why is I'm asking about the tool is because I know that not all of us are good using PS and this tool is really useful.

Nice, thank you. I really appreciate this. I will comment as well to see if he can provide any link to it besides the one for the gallery. If is ok and the tool is provided, can I answer here with the link because it seems that I'm not the only one that is interested on this tool?
