It appears that you are having difficulty with Windows Update, and an option device driver update. The error code 0x800F020b indicates that the “device instance does not exist”. This suggests that this optional device driver update does not necessarily apply to your system – as I assume your wireless internet is fully functional.
I would recommend that in this particular instance, given the error code, that you hide this update. Should you need to update this particular device driver in the future you can visit your computer manufactures website for drivers specific to your system. Or you can visit this device manufactures website as they as well have drivers available for download.

2014-02-24T14:25:27+00:00 Hi,
I received this same error. It happens because you plugged in a piece of hardware (in my case a mobile phone via USB cable) at some point that needs a software update (most likely a driver). Plug in the same piece of hardware and try the update again. After plugging my phone back in and retrying, the update worked right away. This is a simple problem to resolve, I'm a little surprised there are so many useless responses.

Dont meen to "Undermine" you Jared... But isnt the "800F020B" error due to missing hardware for the driver being installed?
"The device instance does not exist" doesnt this meen that the Hardware that the driver is for is not connected and for this particular driver, needs to be connected when it is installed?
Altho this is a "Broadcom-Network-Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN" Router and most likely has no USB ports, i have often found when installing new routers or updating software for them, or any kind of problems on the internet (If connected by wireless that would normally work but now doesnt) Can often be resolved simply by connecting up with a ethernet cable, not the same as USB devices i know, but has solved problems for me many times for reasons i dont understand myself, specially when it comes to windows operating systems.
Apologies if im wrong, im still just a rookie computer nerd, but i remember having this error a while back, took me several weeks to figure out what was going wrong but when i did i found that all i had to do was plug in the device that the driver was for and it updated as normal in no time.
For future referance to anyone who reads this, The device i had this problem with was:
Orange SPV M3100 Windows Mobile 5.1 Smartphone with Direct-Push Technology (I believe the same error occures with windows mobile 6.0 & 6.1 if the device has been connected, but then disconnected before u start the windows update)
Hope this helps
