    Hello Jen91724,

You can try doing a system restore, to restore your program(s). To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type system restore in the Start Search box, and then click System Restore in the Programs list.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue. 2. In the System Restore dialog box, click Choose a different restore point, and then click Next. 3. In the list of restore points, click a restore point that was created before you began to experience the issue, and then click Next. 4. Click Finish.

The computer restarts, and the system files and settings are returned to the state that they were in at the time that the restore point was created.

Hope this helps you. Let us know either way. Make it a great day!

It, doesn't apply for windows 10. I uninstalled a programme by mistake, and trying to reinstall the programme on windows 10 doesn't give me a system restore to an earlier time.

    Hello Jen,

To reinstall the program, you will need the program cd or DVD.  If it was a program you downloaded, then you will either have to download it again or just double click on the install file that you saved when you downloaded it the first time.

If you have none of these things, then you will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer.
