How do I open all windows grouped in the taskbar??

The new taskbar is great, but if i open then minimize say both the documents and the downloads folders to the taskbar (so they are grouped under the same icon) is there a way to open both winodws at once? I find hovering over the 'windows explorer' icon then selecting each window individually harder work than previous OS's.  Im assuming there is a shortcut to just open them all, so does anybody know what it is????

Thanks!

Press SHIFT, right-click on the group icon and choose Restore all windows.

or CTRL click on the group icon to open each window at a time.

This does not open all windows, but only restores the windows that were already open since moving on to a different application. If I have 4 browser windows open, minimize one, then go to something else, SHIFT+right click > restore only opens 3 and not 4 of the browser windows.

Not only that, but restoring all windows also resizes and arranges their positions. This is very annoying and unexpected.

It would be very nice if you click on an application, it raises all the open windows of that application, without rearranging them, resizing them or changing their order.

I am currently using VistaSwitcher. It is a task switching app. If you hit Alt-~ it cycles through all the same types of windows. So if you have 4 browser windows open, it will switch between those 4 windows, one at a time. It is the fastest way I know to quickly bring all 4 windows to the front.

I have a related question - Is there a single taskbar shortcut to restore all windows of all applications instead of going through each grouped application icon and pressing shift, rightlcik and click 'restore all windows' ? this will be helpful when I want to quickly go thru all the open/minimized windows across all applications..

    thanks
