Hi buddy300,
Welcome to Microsoft windows vista forums!
a. Does this happen only with the games?
b. Do you recall any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
C. Have you installed any debugger software on the computer?
This issue may occur if one or more of the following conditions are true:
· There are programs (such as an antivirus program or debugging software) that run in the background and that interfere with the game startup process.
· Your sound card or sound card drivers are outdated.
· The Creative Audigy sound card is installed in your computer. This sound card may conflict with the game startup process.
I would suggest you to perform the following steps:
Step 1: Disable the security software on the system tray and then check.
(Note: Enable the security software back after the test)
Step 2:
Put the computer in clean boot (to figure out if any third party software is hindering the process)
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 ----> How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
Check with the Step 1 (Perform a clean boot):- if everything works fine after a clean boot, you can infer that some third party services are causing the problem.
Proceed with the remaining steps to pin-point out the third party service.
(Note: After you figure out the problem causing program, you may have to update or install a higher version of the program and also remember to put the computer back to normal startup)
Step 3: try the steps mentioned in the article
Games: Error Message: A Debugger Has Been Detected: Unload the Debugger and Try Again

Step 4: System restore: - To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
a. Click Start, type system restore in the Start Search box, and then click System Restore in the Programs list. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
b. In the System Restore dialog box, click Choose a different restore point, and then click next.
c. In the list of restore points, click a restore point that was created before you began to experience the issue, and then click next.
d. Click Finish.
e. The computer restarts, and the system files and settings are returned to the state that they were in at the time that the restore point was created.
Thanks and Regards:
