I went to the Adobe product operating system compatibility page, clicked the See FAQ link for Adobe Acrobat Standard and Windows 7, and found this answer under Do Adobe Acrobat 9 and Adobe Reader 9 support Windows 7?

"Adobe will support Windows 7 with Acrobat 9 and Adobe Reader 9. Adobe has tested Acrobat 9 and Adobe Reader 9 software on Windows 7 and found our solutions perform to our high standards of quality and performance.* Earlier versions of Acrobat and Adobe Reader may run on Windows 7. However, Adobe does not support Acrobat 8, Adobe Reader 8 or prior versions on Windows 7 and does not plan to release updates to those versions for Windows 7 compatibility."

Mr. Steve Winograd, MVP, Moderator is NOT completely TRUE.

Adobe Acrobat 7 works 100% correctly on Win7 Pro and above. Use Windows XP Virtual mode. Download this environment at Microsoft for free and install.  Tested on CD version 7.0 Pro, upgraded to 7.1.0. PDF virtual printer installed correctly (impossible directly on Win7).

    Have a nice day

Please follow the instructions for Windows XP Mode and Virtual PC

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx

You need to have Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate edition. XP Mode will not run on Windows 7 Home Premium versions.

    Thanks,

    Marilyn

    Dear Fireball_cz:

How do i get to use windows xp virtual mode?  is that a patch option or a reformat installation of the operating system?  It would be terrific not to have to pay for an upgrade right now.

    Thanks
