I have a CoreMicro SDHC 8GB card for my new Pentax camera but my HP computer (running Windows XP SP3, with a built in 5 card reader) wont recognize it.  I have loaded the hotfix patch (KB934428) but it does not resolve the problem.  Please help me fix this issue.

    Hello Semmony,

Thank you for your post.  Check on HP's website for the latest driver for your card reader.  If a later driver is available, download and install it.  Please let us know the outcome.

    Cheers

To correctly have a SDHC memory card read, you will need to have a SDHC compatible reader.  Both the SD and SDHC cards have the exact same physical size but the internal "electronics" of the SDHC card are different.  Most SD memory card readers all use the standard Microsoft "bundled" drivers (delivered in Windows) and can never be made to read SDHC cards with most "software" / "driver" updates, if these exists.
