Anyone know what these _vti_cnf folders are and why my compter has them? Opening the folder shows 1m files with the same name as files in the orginial folder. Example: folder A has in it file M, N and O. Opening folder A shows there is a folder named _vti_cnf, and 3 files named M. N, and O, each 1m in size. Opening file M, it is a text file and has a bunch of speciifications on the orginial file M. What is putting these files on my computer, OneCare ?? Can I zap these folders?? thanks for your help, Joe

Those folders are created by the Microsoft FrontPage web page editor and are related to using FrontPage Extensions on a web server.  I'm sorry, but I don't know whether it's safe to zap them.
