Does anyone know if Microsoft Student 2006 is compatible with Windows 7.  Thank you.

    Hello Pcsco,

    Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Answers Forum.

    Student 2006 is not listed in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center. I would suggest that you try in Compatibility Mode.

    Run the installation program in Windows XP compatibility mode:

    1. Right-click the installation file's icon.
    2. Click Properties > Compatibility .
    3. Select the compatibility mode for Windows XP.
    4. Click OK .
    5. Run the installation program.

    After it's installed, run the program in Windows XP compatibility mode by doing the same with the installed program.

    Please reply back and let us know if this helps to resolve your issue or if you still need assistance.

    Thank you for your response but there is a Student 2006.  I am asking the question for a friend and they have it.  Here are 2 links for the product.  So I still need to know if it is compatible with Windows 7.

    Home and Student 2007 is compatible with Windows 7 (as mentioned there is no H&S 2006).
