    Hi sfluedtke,

    • Are you able to burn CD\DVD using other windows application?

I would suggest that you uninstall NTI CD\DVD maker using the windows cleanup utility.

**Important:**Using Third Party Software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Third Party Software can be solved. Using Third Party Software is at your own risk.

Refer the below link to download and install windows cleanup tool

Description of the Windows Installer Clean Up Utility

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Later uninstall and reinstall the CD\DVD drive drivers.

    1.       Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.

    2.       Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager**.**

NOTE:  If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.

    3.       Click CD\DVD drive to expand.

    4.       Under CD\DVD drive, double-click the entry for your CD\DVD drive, and then click the Driver tab.

    5.       Click Uninstall

    6.       Follow the Uninstallation Wizard to uninstall the CD\DVD drive driver.

Later visit the CD\DVD drive manufacturer website download and install the latest drivers for the CD\DVD drive.

Now reinstall the NTI CD\DVD maker software and check if it works.

If the above step does not fix the issue would suggest that you contact the software vendor for more information.
