I can't download anything onto my computer. It says I don't have permission to download or access any files, and it's recognizing my account as an administrator (which it is).

I also try to download adobe flash player recently, and it won't let me. It says I don't have the permission. It says I need to have permission, and it even to contact my administrator. I am the administrator!

Utilize your anguish to something positive.

Donate it to the non-profit organization for underpreviledged kids who can use a restored computer.

I hate to do this but I've come to a last resort. I've decided to crash this computer. I'm just having too many problems with it and I don't have the money to take it in to get it fixed. I have all the important files saved on external sources and I have all the disks to restore most of what is already on this computer. So how do I go about crashing it?

I can't do anything from the administrator account:

What I mean is that I can't do ANYTHING. I can't download anything! I tried to download flash player and it said something about it not being available. I was also trying to install updates and and I was having problems there too. I was also trying to make changes onto the account and the links I was trying to click on weren't doing anything; it was like I didn't even click it at all!

Right click on the program you want to install, click Run As Administrator. Then, try to install.

If that does not work :

Use the tutorial link below ....

    http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67567-administrator-account.html

P.S. Pay attention to the spacing or no spacing in between words ...    net user administrator /active:yesnet(space)user(space)administrator(space)/(NO space)active:yes

When the built-in admin is enabled, log on to it and then do your program installation.

DO NOT use this account as your normal account, nor do you let anyone to use it.

Give it a password and safe-keep the password, or disable the account afterwards.

My suggestion is to password-protect the account, and treat it as your EMERGENCY account. It would save your rear end when your normal admin account was corrupted and you were unable to log on.
