how to fix error 1275

i have just installed a game without problems but it says i must be a administator to play for the fist time but i am the administrator and the only profile on the lap top

    Hi dino dan,

    ·         Please provide us the complete error message.

    ·         Do you receive this error message only with this particular game? If yes, please provide us the name of the game.

    Try to run the game as administrator, follow the below steps:

    i.           Right click on the game

    ii.         From the list select “Run as Administrator”

    Revert back with the results.

    Hi dino dan

    Forget what you have tried as I found the ONLY solution. Go to http://www.tagesprotection.com/main.htm and download the latest driver. Remember to have Settlers installed BEFORE you install this as it F####s up the installation (CRC error) if you install the app before the game. Satisfaction Guaranteed.

    i have the same problem! in playing "the witcher" ,  when i start the game it's all doing fine but when i click on start game it asks me for a tages setup actualization i click yes and... "UNABLE "TO PROCCED: ERROR 1275" the same result when i put "run as  administrator"

    Hi SRB1983,

     Give full permission to the game folder and check if it helps. Steps to follow

    i.             Right click on the Folder select Properties

    ii.           Select Security tab

    iii.          Choose Edit button(if prompted to click continue, please click on continue)

    iv.          Select Add type in ‘Everyone’ (without quotes)

    v.           Click on Check names

    vi.          Click Ok

    vii.         Under Group or user name select Everyone

    viii.       Under Permissions for system check Allow full control.
