If you upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and Windows Photo Gallery was the default program used to open pictures, you might get the following error when you right-click a photo and click Edit:

“There was a problem starting C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery\PhotoViewer.dll. The specified module could not be found.”

Why can't I right-click a picture to edit it?:

When I got this message in Windows 10 I found that downloading and installing Windows essentials removed the error message.
