the farsi language is not listed within the list of available languages. What should I do? I have Windows Vista ultimate and tried Windows Vista Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI).

Welcome to Microsoft Answers.

Persian language pack is an add-on to the Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI). To install Farsi language and Farsi keyboard layout in Windows Vista, follow these steps:

  1. Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options.
  2. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab, and then click Change keyboards.
  3. Under Installed services, click Add.
  4. Double-click Farsi language, double-click the text services you want to add, select the text services options you want to add, and then click OK .

    Hi Dianna

    That was what I did! The "Farsi language" or "persian" options are not available for me to select it! That's the problem. Other than that, I know the whole procedure about adding a language or keyboard layout. It would be appreciated if you could help.
