    Hi,

    ·          Did you make any software or hardware changes on your computer?

    ·          When exactly the screen goes blank?

Microsoft virtual WiFi mini port adapter is an adapter which is used to turning a single piece of hardware and radio into virtually unlimited adapters. Virtual WiFi, is a software layer that abstracts the wireless LAN card hardware into multiple virtual adapters. This device is just a virtual device and it should not affect connecting the wireless network with the physical wireless adapter.

    About the Wireless Hosted Network

I would suggest you to uninstall the wireless network adapter from device manager and reinstall it and check if it solves the issue.

    1. Type devmgmt.msc, press Ok.

    2. In device manager, expand network driver > right click on it> click Uninstall.

    1. Reboot the computer.
    2. The network driver will get installed automatically.

If it doesn’t help download and install the latest network driver from the manufacturer’s website.

    1. if windows fails to install anything (ie windows could not find a driver for your device). You can try right click my computer>properties>advanced system settings>hardware (tab)>device installation settings and just tick "yes, do this automatically". It should try again or you can always right click and update device driver software from device manager again, and or reboot will make it search upon boot. Cant tell you how many times i have tried to update driver software through device manager and it didnt work because i generally keep "automatic" type settings off. This one is actually OK to leave on as it wont install [windows] updates automatically.
