Hello there!

I am a cg artist and have a copious of vector files (e.g. *.eps ). opening them one by one with adobe programs and choose them are really difficult. I wanna see them in thumbnail preview so I can choose them really faster than opening them one by one!

So how can I have Thumbnail preview for these files?

Thanks in advance...

Or just use this free, open source utility here: https://code.google.com/p/sagethumbs/

It works just fine to display thumbs of PS, AI, EPS, etc.

    Hi Mohsen,

    1. The preview of .eps file is not available in windows explorer because adobe CS versions don’t have that integration with windows. I would suggest you to use other third party picture viewers and their plug-in will allow windows to take advantage of them and show preview of .eps files.

Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Third Party Software or Link can be solved. Using Third Party Software or Link is at your own risk.

    1. Open the folder the pictures are in with the folder open click on View on the menu bar then to-wards the bottom of the list click on "Customize” this folder" and you will get a properties box appear, at the top click on the "Customize" tab and at the top you will see a drop down box, within that select the picture option that suits your needs, set to "Pictures (best for many pictures), click on apply and you should see pictures in place of icons now.

Follow the steps given below for thumbnail view.

    1. Right click "Computer"
    2. Go to properties
    3. Go to Advanced System Settings to bring up the System Properties
    4. Go to Performance and select Settings
    5. Make sure "Show thumbnails instead of icons" is checked off.
    6. Try opening the file with adobe after file association and check if issue persists.

Follow the link below to change the file association on your computer.
